Not quite. Microblading places pigment in fine, hand-drawn strokes for a natural, hair-like finish, while powder (ombré) shading is layered with a machine for a soft, filled-in look. Does eyebrow microblading hurt?
A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort, and most clients find the treatment very manageable. Sensitivity varies from person to person, and Maral works at a pace that keeps you comfortable throughout.
How long do microbladed brows last, and is a touch-up included?
Results are semi-permanent and fade gradually, and how long they last varies with your skin type, sun exposure and aftercare. A perfecting session 6–8 weeks after your first appointment is included, and many clients book a refresh later to keep their brows looking crisp.
What does the healing process look like?
Brows typically heal over 7–14 days. Light flaking is normal, and the colour softens by around 40% as it settles, so fresh brows look stronger than the final result. You’ll receive full aftercare instructions after your appointment.
